About Us

What is now a legend on The Granville Strip, The Wildlife Thrift Store has been serving the people of Vancouver with pride since 1997.

Family-owned & operated, we believe in one single, simple concept: by recycling ♻ we are not only able to preserve our environment, but we are granted the privilege of giving back to our community.

What originally began supporting The Wildlife Rescue Association in Burnaby quickly transformed into helping local Charities that directly benefit the people that live in our neighbourhood & shop in our store.

Since refocussing our energy, we now contribute to the following ‘people-oriented’ Charities–each one of them holds a very special place in our heart: Coast Mental Health, The Gathering Place, Positive Living B.C. and Vancouver Rape Relief & Women’s Shelter.

Through your ongoing and generous support, we have been able to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to these Charities -this is both an honour and a privilege!

Thank you Vancouver and to our donors everywhere! You are not only helping to preserve our planet, you enable us to recycle & give back!
